Are You Ready for Some Football!

Area High School Teams Prepare for Season

As the start of another high school football season draws near, players and coaches are working hard to to beat the clock and be prepared for opening night — August. 17.

Between lifting weights, studying film, practicing and doing conditioning drills, they are also working in time for a few scrimmages. While some are little more than glorified practices, others will have a bit more intensity to them.

And while all of this is going on, we are busy working on putting together a football preview section to help kick off this season. We, too, hope to be ready for opening night.
